Personality
Mabel Pines is a hyperactive, cheerful and optimistic thirteen year old girl. She takes on life armed with a heart full of love and fun, with a glass-half-full worldview that lets her see the good in situations and people others might have given up on. Though she may seem like a quirky, overly excitable oddball to some who may want to dismiss Mabel as a ditzy child, she’s far smarter than she lets on. While not an academic genius like her twin brother Dipper and Great Uncle Ford before her, Mabel is particularly attuned to the feelings of others and is quite emotionally intelligent for someone of her age.She is led by her heart first and her head second. As such Mabel often acts on instincts and gut feelings rather than facts, which can help her a much as it can hurt her. Mabel is also still a young girl who is very much capable of being impulsive, naive, and sensitive. Selfishness and making self-centered choices are vices she is particularly vulnerable to, which Mabel herself is aware of and is actively trying to better herself about.

V; Summer of 2012

Twelve-year-old Mabel and her twin brother Dipper have been sent to Gravity Falls, Oregon to stay with their Great Uncle Stan and get some fresh air out in the middle of nowhere. It would turn out that what started out as a somewhat questionable vacation would turn into the summer of a lifetime in the strange little town of Gravity Falls and its many oddities.

V; Post-Weirdmageddon

After nearly starting and narrowly ending the apocalypse, now thirteen-year-old Mabel and Dipper Pines returned home to Piedmont in one piece at the end of their eventful summer vacation. Guilt over nearly destroying the world as they know it and uncertainty of the future infest Mabel’s mind every now and then, but she’s sure she can move forward with the people she loves by her side.

Mabel was accidentally sucked into the portal during the events of Not What He Seems, hurdling this plucky girl headfirst into the cruel, cutthroat reality that is awaiting her in the multiverse. While there are plenty who would want to capture or hurt her out there, luckily there are just as many who are willing to help. Some of them might be closer to her than she realizes…

After spending two years wandering the multiverse, fourteen-year-old Mabel Pines has grown accustomed to surviving on her own and evading those looking to collect the bounty on a human’s head. She’s unfortunately had to grow up faster than she would have liked, but the faint hope that she’ll make it back home someday still lives in her heart.

Mabel and her twin brother are a pair of darling cervitaurs staying with their Great Uncle in Gravity Falls. They have free roam over the whole town of fellow monsters and creatures like them, but they’re constantly warned to beware the Enchanted Forest and what lies beyond it… Unfortunately, curious preteens don’t like to heed the stern warnings of their authority figures. What’s in that forest anyways!?
